Meito is the Japanese word for fine or excellent.
Meito was established in 1908 by Kotero Asukai a former senior engineer at Noitake or Morimura Brothers as it was known then. He was taken over in 1943 by Sumimoto and then changed to Narumi Seito and in 1952 became Narumi as is which still known today and trades from Nagoya.
The stamp of Meito disappeared in 1960.
