Wade figurines are an assortment of whimsies. This particular figurine designed by Jessie Van Hallen would have been produced in the 1920’s to early 1930’s. It’s been coated in a type of cellulose that somewhat became unstable and caused flaking and chipping. There are certainly signs of this on this particular “Carnival” piece. But this just adds to the history and charm of this gorgeous figurine.
